As a potential customer, you should understand that many exotic car rental companies use car "brokers" to offer you the latest high performance vehicles on the market. What does this mean? It means that the exotic car rental company you rent the vehicle from does not own the cars they advertise, nor do they keep the vehicles on their premises. When you call them to book a rental, they in-turn call their broker to see if they can get you the vehicle you want on the day that you need it. Most times, the broker will tell the exotic car rental company that they can provide the vehicle to them just to earn their business, when in actuality, they cannot.

A broker is like a very large car dealership: their inventory changes frequently. If you make a reservation a month from now with the exotic car rental company, the broker may not be able to provide that car to them because they may have sold the vehicle within their inventory by that time. This effectively cancels your rental. What happens then is that you get a call from the exotic car rental company (usually 2-3 hours before the rental) giving you a reason why they cannot rent the vehicle to you. "It has been in an accident," "We just sold it," or "The previous renter extended their rental" are just some of the excuses. Then, because they've told you at the last moment, they try to upsell you into another vehicle. They may even go as far as offering you a discount because of the "inconvenience" they caused you. In actuality, it may be the only vehicle on their lot at that given moment.

We do realize that some things are out of our control. If the vehicle you will be renting is involved in an accident prior to your rental or was sold, we will contact you immediately and make every effort to accommodate you in a different vehicle. If you do decide on a different vehicle due to these circumstances, we will discount that rental to you by 50%. If you would like pictures of the accident or a bill of sale as proof, we will provide that information to you. If we are unable to accommodate you in a different vehicle on your specific date or if you decide to cancel the rental based on your vehicle not being available, we will refund you the total amount that you have paid, PLUS $100 for the inconvenience. Since opening in 2001, we've taken pride in knowing that we have never had to accommodate a change to a renter’s reservation due to a sale or accident of one of our vehicles.
